Can Puppy Proof Be Pretty?

Quite simply, having a puppy doesn’t mean sacrificing the look of your home.

A few thoughtful preventive steps can make having a puppy and a pretty home possible.

1. Put electrical cords out of reach: puppies are notorious for chewing them. Use cord covers.

2. Secure loose items- keep shoes, socks, and small toys away as they are choking hazards.

3. Cover trash cans to prevent your puppy from eating potentially lethal things like chicken bones and grapes.

4. Accept the fact that puppies love to chew so provide them safe chew toys to keep them entertained and prevent them from destroying your furniture.

5. Keep doors to any unused room closed to prevent unforeseen accidents – this is one of the easiest and most effective steps to take.
